We areseekinga proactive and detail-orientedManager, Enterprise Business Continuityto develop andmaintain an effective Enterprise Business Continuity governance framework. This will ensureconsistency with regulation and compliance requirements for theexecution of business continuity plans, incident management initiatives and identifying operations risks/ Disaster Recovery (DR) exercises. The successful candidate will report tothe Assistant General Manager, Enterprise Business Continuity.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate Business Continuity Management (BCM) related exercises i.e Business Continuity Plan (BCP) exercises, BCM documents annual review, training and audit/compliance reviews to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate the review, verification and analysis of Business Impact Analysis (BIA), Risk Assessment (RA), Level of Disruptions (LOD) and Business Continuity Management (BCM) strategies for the development of a prudent BCM plan and procedures.

  • Conduct annual review of Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) and Board Policy on Business Continuity Management (BCM) and prepare reports/documentation for internal, external stakeholders, regulators as well manage preparations for bi-monthly meetings with act as a Secretariat.

  • Oversee the Disaster Recovery Planning (DRP) tests according to the schedule/matrix, monitor progress status, track action plans, proper closure for reporting purposes and collaborate with the IT-DR team to ensure alignment with recovery testing plans for critical systems and applications.

  • Support continuous development of Business Continuity policies, recovery response in the event of major incidents and participate in external continuity management programs.

  • Strong commitment to full compliance with Business Continuity Management (BCM) and other related compliances within internal or regulatory.

  • Provide training to the business and operation stakeholders.

  • Liaise with regulators such as Bank Negara Malaysia's examiners, auditors and risk management personnel.

Job Requirements

  • Malaysian citizen.

  • Bachelor's degree and/or professional qualification in Business Continuity/ IT/ Risk Management/ Audit with 3 years and above experience related to BCM, DR and/or Crisis Management.

  • Comprehensive understanding of established business continuity best practice, including familiarity on ISO 22301 and Accredited Certification in BCM or other related fields from a recognized professional institution is highly preferred.

  • Working proficiency in English (written/spoken) and effective presentation skills.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the confidence to communicate with senior level internal/external stakeholders, excellent leadership qualities and proficiency in analytical reporting skills.
