JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for planning, managing and monitoring implementation of data strategy by providing meaningful analytics and insights to support business growth. Identify stakeholders needs and wants, opportunity for process optimization, automation and innovation to enhance data management. Develop initiatives to cultivate data driven culture for Operations team.
JOB SCOPE
1.Developing and implementing data management strategies
- Plan and formulate data strategy and key initiatives in line with Management's direction and aspirations
- Ensure data governance compliance and the implementation of initiatives to improve data quality and integrity
- Collaborate with related departments to meet data needs and stay updated with updated industry best practice for data management
- Manage the implementation of data cleansing initiatives
- Provide suggestion for development/improvement of Business Intelligent (BI) systems and other data-related systems
2.Provide analytical findings and insights to enhance key business operations
- Provide insights based on analytical data to assist Operations team in decision making process
- Provide insights and proposal to support and improve operations key business
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet data needs to strengthen business operations
- Collaborate with external stakeholders to leverage third party data on data sharing strategy
- Identify opportunity for data optimization, automation and innovation to enhance data management and support business growth
3.Cultivate Data Driven Culture
- Drive and foster data driven decision making culture across operation division
- Propose strategies and action plans for Data Culture programme at Operations Division
- Overseeing data governance processes, ensuring data quality and integrity
- Manage, monitor and ensure the implementation of Data Culture programmes
- Provide input and suggestions for culture programmes improvements
- Act as Operations Division's change manager on Data Governance
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Malaysian citizen.
- Pass Malay Language including oral test at Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level.
- Possess a Bachelor's Degree with honours in the field of: Statistics/ Data Analytics / Data Science/ Business Economics/ Actuary or equivalent qualifications from local or overseas higher learning institutions recognised by the Malaysian government.
- More than 10 years of experiences in data strategies and analytics, statistics and managing stakeholders.
- Willingness to learn, work in a team, develop people and share knowledge.
- Ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written correspondence) in a professional manner with stakeholders.
