Key Accountability
This role manages corporate communication activities promoting Awantec's brand, services, and products. Key accountabilities include:
- Corporate Communication - press releases, native articles, official speeches, quarterly board meeting slides, event coordination.
- Annual Report & Annual General Meeting - content development for Annual Report & Annual General Meeting.
- Copywriting & Editing - align communication materials with brand guidelines.
- Other roles - update communication channels, conducting audience & market research, and contributing creative input to integrated marketing campaigns.
Job Summary
Corporate communications
- Produce press releases, native articles, official speeches, Quarterly Board slides, coordinate and manage any internal and external events or activities as required (MOU signing ceremonies, new products or services launches, VIP visits).
- Write and oversee the development and dissemination of press releases, media kits, and other communication materials to promote the organization's activities, achievements, and initiatives. It is ensuring accurate and timely delivery to media outlets.
- Initiate and garner media interviews, coordinate and prepare write-up.
Annual Report and Annual General Meeting
- Assist with content development and coordination with inter-department content development for the Annual Report published in compliance with the Listing Requirements issued by Bursa Malaysia Securities.
- Assist in planning and preparation of the Annual General Meeting.
Copywriting & Editing
- Proofread and edit content to ensure clarity, consistency, and adherence to brand voice and style guidelines for various ATL, BTL, and Digital materials as and when required.
- Ensure timely update of all communication channels with current information and articles, aligning with promotional activities and Awantec Group website policy. This includes brochures, newsletters, Social Media etc.
- Conduct thorough research to understand target audiences and market trends, ensuring relevant and impactful content messaging.
- Support the overall marketing strategy by providing creative input and contributing to developing integrated marketing campaigns.
Qualification
- Holds a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in related field.
- At least 2 to 5 years in a Managerial role with total of 10 year(s) of working experience in the related field or equivalent.
- Copywriting and Editing - Exceptional copywriting and editing skills, ability to proofread, edit, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines, manage content for ATL, BTL and Digital materials.
Required Skills
- Proficient in English and BM in producing press releases, native articles, corporate slides, and speeches.
- Accuracy and timely delivery of communication materials to media outlets.
- Proficient in managing and updating communication channels with current information and articles, brochures, newsletters, and social media platforms in alignment with promotional activities and company policies.
- Strong editing skills to ensure all materials meet brand guidelines and are free of errors.
- Experience in planning and coordinating corporate events.
