Job Purpose:-
To spearhead the growth and development of the cold chain segment by effectively leading and managing the sales team. The role involves devising and executing strategic sales plans aimed at expanding market presence and achieving sales targets. The Business Development Manager will ensure sustained business growth and customer satisfaction by identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and optimizing the sales process within the cold chain industry.
Job Responsibility:-
Analyzing patterns in client and market behavior.
Responsible for planning and implementing sales, marketing and product development programs, targeted towards existing and new customers.
Provides data-driven action strategies in order to consistently optimize our commercial performance and improve market share.
Design and develop commercial plans that include sales plans, pricing, and business support for the products
Work on complex commercial negotiations with our clients, including drafting and reviewing of all contracts and presentations.
Independently analyse areas of improvement for client accounts
Categorize client wants and needs and employ strategies to address these through NV'S suite of products.
Determine the strengths and weaknesses of direct reports to navigate challenges and areas of opportunity
Support commercial areas as and when required alongside the business to ensure overall product success and acceptance of the stakeholders.
Maintain an external mindset, including staying on top of consumer, competitive, and macroeconomic trends that impact our industry
Key Accountabilities:-
New Shippers & Volume Acquisition for the Team
You will develop and implement strategies to acquire new shippers, maintaining a pipeline of potential clients, and converting them into active clients. This role demands proactive engagement with potential shippers, ensuring consistent follow-up and relationship building to achieve volume acquisition targets.
Activity KPIs Target
Conduct sales visits and calls to both potential and existing clients, ensuring regular interaction to maintain relationships and address their needs effectively. Additionally, you will participate in joint visits with team members to enhance sales strategies, fostering a collaborative approach to achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
Teams Territory Volume Growth Target
Monitor and manage volume retention and growth in your assigned territory, ensuring existing volumes are retained while new volumes are added. This involves developing and implementing effective strategies to maintain and increase volume. Additionally, you will collaborate with team members to achieve territory volume growth targets, fostering a cooperative environment to drive business success and meet or exceed growth objectives.
Performance Measures

Job Requirements:-
Experience:
At least 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar role
Having experience in the logistics, cold chain, or supply chain industry is a plus, but not mandatory, open to all industry
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.Skills:
