Manager, Broking Operations (Hong Kong)
The Manager is responsible to ensure day to day delivery of operational goals in an efficient manner while keeping in line with standards on quality, productivity and TAT as decided and agreed with operating companies.
The Broking Operations team is responsible for:
Pre - Renewal / Pre - Placement Activities such as Quotation slips, proposals to client
Issuance of Client Documentation i.e Placing instructions and cover notes
Billing to customers
Executing paperwork related to endorsements and cancellations
Country supported is Hong Kong.

We will count on you to:
Be responsible for the overall back-office operations of the General Insurance (known as Insurance Broking) Broking Operations in the KL Shared Services Centre (KLSSC).
Manages resource planning, monitors workflows, oversees day-to-day operational activities and measures and reports on team productivity and individual performance while providing feedback and coaching for managers and non-managers to ensure a productive and engaged team.
Leads and/or participates in stakeholder engagement sessions and works in partnership with brokers on identified initiatives to improve the client experience and garner a better understanding of the needs and expectations of both internal and external clients.
Maintains a controlled risk environment, ensures emerging risks are identified, assessed and formally reported and ensures all colleagues are compliant with business Professional Standards and Operation team Policies and Procedures.
Manage escalated calls, complaints, questions, and queries as necessary and oversees the complaints management system and quality of communications with client facing colleagues to ensure the receipt of accurate and timely advice on internal enquiries.
Provide coaching/mentoring and support to Operations team Executives on all systems, documentation, and reporting.
What you need to have:
Minimum 10 years of experience in General Insurance Broking Operations, within a SSC environment.
Minimum 5 years of managerial experience, managing a team of 15 or more.
Understanding of insurance and/or financial services sectors.
Understanding of Broking / Claims / Insurance operations.
Good command of spoken Cantonese and English, and written English.
