KHOON HOOI is a modern occasion wear label that serves new luxury to women across the globe. Founded in 1999 by Malaysian designer Lee Khoon Hooi, the eponymous brand effortlessly melds technical craftsmanship with an artisanal approach. Each piece is crafted with a strong play on silhouettes, prints and colours.

The brand has traded in Paris Fashion Week trade since 2010, and its designs have been worn by Hollywood celebrities at movie premieres and during important awards events such as Screen Actors Guild Awards, Golden Globe Awards and Vanity Fair's Oscar Parties in Los Angeles.

Program Overview:

Our trainee program is designed to identify and develop future talent for the organization across various functional areas. You will gain hands-on experience by participating in production projects. Extensive on-the-job

training will be provided, along with mentorship to guide your development.

General Responsibilities:

Specialize in the production department, focusing on drafting and pattern cutting.

Draw and design pattern pieces using traditional hand-drawing methods based on production sheet sketches.

Drape materials and alter standard pattern blocks to create specific styles.

Cut pattern pieces with detailed annotations for sample and stock garments.

Understand and translate designs into technical specifications, pattern pieces, and toiles.

Suggest improvements to technical constructions for given designs.

Ad-hoc Duties:

Assist in external events, including model casting, photoshoots, and backstage styling.
