JOB DESCRIPTION- Properly setup and install new machinery or equipment according to specifications and safety standard. Ensure functionality, proper alignment, calibration and configuration.
Perform routine checks, preventive maintenance, identify potential malfunctions, repair and replace parts as needed.- Attend to equipment breakdowns.
Analyze root causes of equipment failures and perform corrective actions.
- Collaborate with related departments to implement equipment upgrades or modifications.
Keep detailed record of maintenance activities, repairs and inspections performed on each piece of equipment.- Maintain good inventory of tools, parts and supplies.
Keep engineering workshop and tools in clean, safe and organized order.
- Communicate and collaborate with other team units and members to coordinate maintenance schedules, report issues and recommend improvements.
Maintain accurate records of daily activities, parts, tools and supplies inventory. Provide accurate information on technical issues and maintenance activities.- Identify opportunities for process improvements and equipment upgrades and carry out improvement projects.
Minimum Diploma in Mechatronics / Electrical / Mechanical or Industrial Engineering and above.- Minimum 2-year equipment engineering/maintenance/electro-mechanical experience in a manufacturing facility or any related fields.
MUST be able to interpret Electrical and Mechanical schematics/drawings.
- Well versed in mechanical parts repair and maintenance (motors, gears, pneumatics & hydraulics, chains & sprockets, belts & pulleys, etc).
Metal fabrication skills (cutting, grinding, welding).- Familiar with PLC, automation and control, CAD.
Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed.
