Join our team as a hotel technician, where youll take charge of diverse maintenance tasks like carpentry, plumbing, tiling, and painting. Collaborate with housekeeping, ensure top-notch safety standards, and keep accurate records. Report to the Lead Technician and play a key role in our team's success.
Basic carpentry, plumbing, tiling, and flooring.
- Painting and repainting guest rooms, corridors, and common areas.
Conduct regular checks and assessments of private and public areas.- Work closely with housekeeping to address maintenance needs as they arise.
Handle installations, inspections, diagnosing faults, testing, replacement, repair, and maintenance of buildings, fixtures, and fittings.
- Fixing washers and taps, unblocking toilets and pipes.
Installing new sinks, urinals, toilets, and pipework (copper or PVC).- Hanging doors, fitting new locks, and installing window frames.
Assembling furniture, adjusting windows, cabinets, and replacing handles and similar hardware.
- Carry out general tiling work for floors and walls, and handle flooring tasks like installing carpet tiles.
Handle basic electrical and plumbing maintenance work.- Identify hazards and defects, ensuring they are fixed to comply with health and safety regulations.
Complete planned tasks within agreed timelines and standards.
- Ensure compliance with codes, legislation, and health and safety procedures.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to your work.- Report to the Lead Technician or Property Maintenance Manager.
Immediately report any problems that could impact the organization or its customers.
- Meet your individual targets and contribute to the teams overall goals.
Support the smooth running of the team and adhere to all organizational policies and procedures.- Participate in special projects as needed.
Take responsibility for your assigned workload and ensure all agreed targets are met.
- Qualifications & Experience
Willing to work on shift basis
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively- Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment
Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment
- Understanding of customer service principles and practices
Hold a technical certificate/diploma in engineering.- Have at least 2 years of experience as a hotel technician.
