Modern workplace advocates are individuals comfortable talking about digital workplace concepts and solutions to the team, the wider business and in workshops to all levels stakeholders and recognized as authorities in their field and known for their innovative ideas, strategies, and ability to drive conversation and engagement within the industry. Here are some typical responsibilities of a Modern workplace advocates

Re-imagine what the future workplace should be and designing enhanced user experiences with Digital Workplace technologies such as Microsoft 365.

Delivering workplace technology advice, identifying strategies and solutions to their challenges and supporting in the creation of business cases as appropriate

Advising in how to optimize and secure their Digital Workplace environment and investments, including users, data, devices and access control to applications

Experience in the strategy, design and/or delivery of Digital Workplace technology projects or programs or delivering business or technology change

Strong analytical / problem-solving ability to provide thought-through, clearly articulated, pragmatic solutions and recommendations to complex business problems

Ability to communicate complex / technical issues to non-technical audiences

Qualifications:

Need to have a deep understanding and knowledge of Mobility & Security (E.g. MS Defender, MS End Point Manager etc.) and Collaboration Technology (e.g. Exchange, SharePoint, Teams)

Core understanding of secure remote working solutions, including cloud-based virtual desktop solutions

Digital Workplace security, e.g. data loss prevention, Privileged Identity Management and Microsoft 365 security features

M365 CoPilot Features explorer for End Points and enable if it is OOB

Identity and access management services, e.g. Azure AD
