Job Summary
The M&E Manager will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of mechanical and electrical systems for the data center construction, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and project timelines.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead the M&E team's setup, monitor the work plan and schedules.
- Responsible for the effective project implementation of site works for all M&E works.
- Coordinate M&E works to ensure compliance with specification and performance standards.
- Liaison with clients, relevant authorities, consultants and sub-contractors in M&E related installation works of all assigned projects in technical, commercial aspects and to ensure smooth implementation and on-time delivery of the project.
- Review and resolve discrepancies in M&E drawings and specifications.
- Inspect the work and design compliance of M&E sub-contractors.
- Ensure smooth coordination between M&E installation, C&S and architectural works so that timeliness and budget are met.
- Lead, plan and implement all M&E installation works and ensure projects complete to the specified quality and safety requirements before handing over to clients.
- Ensure the project risk is documented and mitigated.
Requirements:-
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 10 year M&E experience in building construction.
- Data center M&E system experience a big plus.
- Possesses a keen eye for detail in design, adept at identifying and resolving issues effectively.
- Technical knowledge of ACMV, HVAC, MV, LV, ELV, Fire Protection, CCTV, DCOS.
- Proficient in English language.
- Based at Iskandar Puteri, Johor site office.
