Job Description- Maintenance Planning and Scheduling: Develop and implement maintenance schedules for building systems and machinery, including lifts, to prevent unexpected breakdowns.
Machinery and Equipment Management: Oversee maintenance and repair of all building machinery, with regular inspections and records management for lifts and other critical systems.- Lift Maintenance and Safety: Ensure lifts are maintained according to safety regulations, schedule regular inspections, and respond promptly to malfunctions.
Facility Management: Maintain the buildings infrastructure, ensuring systems like lifts, HVAC, and plumbing are in good working order.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including specific requirements for lifts, and address any issues identified during inspections.
Emergency Response: Develop and implement emergency response plans, including procedures for lift failures and other building emergencies.- Energy Management: Monitor and optimise energy usage, implementing efficiency initiatives for building systems, including lifts.
Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and prepare reports on building and machinery status, with detailed logs for lifts.
- Project Management: Oversee major repair or renovation projects, ensuring minimal disruption to building operations, including lift availability.
Other duties as may arise from time to time and as may be assigned to the employee.
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Engineering or its equivalent.- 3-4 years relevant working experience.
Knowledge of building systems (lifts, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.).
- Possess own transportation.
Willing to standby all the time for ad hoc duties.- Resourceful, meet deadlines, ability to work independently & good team-player.
Good time management & Stress management.
- Must be well- organized and can prioritize tasks.
Effective problem-solving abilities.- Able to work in 6 day shifts (9 am-5 pm) with granted 1 off day per week.
Able to work Overtime if required.
