Job Responsibility
Objectives
In this position, your responsibilities include conducting a physical stock count of goods on floors, racking or shelves, working with the inventory systems and equipment (including handheld devices) and relaying information and reports to the Management.
You are required to pay extremely close attention to your assigned section to be sure your records are as accurate as possible. Your duties involve interacting with Outlets Supervisors, Admin Team, Buyers, Midas Operation Team and Accounts to verify the stocks status. You are also required to conduct the stocktake after the end of business &/or in early morning prior to the business commencement.
Core Responsibilities
- Fully take charge of the Companys stocktakes. Conduct the Companys annual, monthly &/or weekly stocktakes (including other business units) according to the Company Stocktake Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Involve in the daily operation process to understand the variables that affect the stock level of different kinds of goods, such as Dried Commodities and Fresh items (vegetables, poultry, seafood, fruits).
- Investigate & verify stock discrepancies between the Companys backend records and actual stock level.
- Identify inventory operations issues that lead to the discrepancies and provide rectify action to minimise the discrepancies. Ensure the rectified action is implemented accordingly.
- Prepare and generate analysis reports on inventory operations, stock level, adjustment and submit reports for management review and approval.
- Reports to the Management of any non-compliance or breach of Companys Procedures by Supervisors or Operational and Administrative members that affect the Company inventory.
- Identify any high discrepancy goods and conduct regular stocktake where necessary.
Job Requirements
- At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is require for the position.
- Familiar with Panda retail backend system and supermarket products would be added advantage.
- Able to complete tasks (with the Companys standard) within the datelines.
- Possess good interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills.
Must be Computer Literate and savvy in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and any other Accounting/Stock/Material System
