JOB PURPOSE : Drive and tend heavy motor vehicles to transport Motorcycle, and materials over
short or long distances
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Overseeing the loading and offloading of Motorcycles.
- Safely transporting Motorcycles to and from distribution centers.
- Obeying the rules of the road and following company safety regulations.
- Inspecting and cleaning the vehicles.
- Report defects, accidents, and violations.
- Scheduling timely vehicle servicing appointments.
- Reporting any delays to the Manager.
- Completing travel logs.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Take responsibility and accountability for daily task ( as delegate to you by your Manager )
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
- Conducting minor roadside repairs on the truck.
- Arranging motorcycles in the warehouse.
- Attend all relevant training.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum SPM graduate or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Logistic / Personal Driver or in a similar role.
- Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including packing, loading and unloading
relevant goods.
- Familiar with the basics mechanics of vehicles ( Lorry, Van, Car ) would be an added
