Job Responsibilities:- Prepare shipment or delivery of products, parts and accessories to customer required destination and follow up with shipping service providers to ensure on time delivery.
Check the completeness and accuracy of shipping documentation and ensure that submissions are made immediately to transporters or freight forwarders in order to avoid delays and minimize or reduce storage charges.- Liaise with freight forwarder/ liners to obtain best freight rates, inland transportation rate and insurance rate and also sailing schedule base on agreed delivery term.
Liaise with customers on confirmation of shipping documents and shipment schedule. Ensure shipping documents sent to customer are correct, complete and on time.
- Carry out any other duties or ad hoc tasks as assigned by Management.
Diploma or Degree in Logistics/ Transportation/ Shipping/ Business Administration or its equivalent.
- At least five (5) years of work experiences in logistics or shipping industry.
* Good understanding and well verse with export and import shipping regulations of Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI).
- Preferably bilingual in English & Bahasa malaysia.
