To provide logistical support on inbound and outbound cargoes, customs clearance, and liaison with the Royal Malaysia Customs Department and the Ministry of Investment, Trade, and Industry (MITI).
Ensure compliance with the LMW Rules and Regulations, the Customs Act of 1967, and the Poison Act of 1952.
Act as an organization representative to all regulatory bodies on logistic operations and activities.
Coordinate transportation for inbound and outbound, storage, and logistic operations in accordance with the company policies and objectives.
Prepare a shipping document for all miscellaneous outbound shipment requests made through e-SRF systems by other departments.
Issue a billing invoice in SAP systems for non-trade sales (scrap sales and others).
Arrange and follow up on the inbound shipment of raw materials, equipment, and other indirect materials.
Deal with the Royal Malaysia Customs Department related to duties and tax exemption applications for raw materials and equipment, scrap sales, and other approvals.
Submit the monthly report of raw materials, finished goods, scrap, and subcontracts to the Royal Malaysia Customs Department.
Apply the Certificate of Origin for each export shipment to Korea and courier the copy within the time frame given.
Keep a record of all custom forms for monthly custom reports and customs audits.
Verity the billing invoices from freight forwarders and transporters.
Deal with freight forwarders, the Royal Malaysia Customs Department, and MITI.
Sign the Application Form for Duties and Tax Exemption and other Customs Approval.
Provide confirmation to forwarders for the shipment arrangement.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration or other related field.
Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of SAP Systems and advanced Microsoft Excel will be an advantage.
