JOB OBJECTIVE
To perform and ensure all logistic activities adhere to business processes, fulfill the delivery deadlines and coordinate the custom correspondence.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- May involve in minimum supervision of small team.
- To prepare and update reports on time and accurately.
- To ensure on time updating.
- Compile monthly KPI report on time and accurately.
- To ensure KPI and CIP achieve on time.
- To submit monthly report (import/export) to custom.
- To liaise with the forwarder on shipment pick-up and deliveries.
- To handle company's shipments export / import.
- To follow up on the inbound and outbound shipment delivery status and ensure the on-time delivery.
- To advise customers, planner, and purchaser on the delivery schedule.
- To prepare the shipment's documents (Delivery Order / Packing List / Commercial Invoices).
- To prepare and apply the custom's approval for shipment exemption (import /export).
- To coordinate the custom correspondence.
- To liaise with packers for shipment's packing / crating.
- To attend and eliminate any issue in the weekly project or operation meeting as well as the customer meeting.
- To ensure the team performs the task appropriately and fulfill the audit. requirement.
- To ensure on resource and time management, problem solving, discipline and company policy.
- Job to be assigned by superior from time to time.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum SPM, Diploma or Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma or Degree in any field is preferred.
- At least 1 year working in logistic and custom rules and regulation is preferred.
- Good command of written and verbal English and converse well in Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Strong computer application skills in MS Office i.e. Excel and Word.
- Resourceful, possess good negotiation skills and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with positive attitude, strong analytical/structural skills.
