Responsibilities
- As the coordinator and supervisor of lifting activities, you must ensure that everything is done safely.
Brief all team members before any lifting operation, and ensure that only registered crane operators, appointed riggers, and signalmen participate.- Be present during all lifting operations and rectify any unsafe conditions.
Ensure that crane operators conduct daily checks of their machines and appliances, and brief them on safe lifting procedures.
- Check the validity of the lifting machine certificate and maintenance inspection program.
Requirements
- Lifting Supervisors Certificate or equivalent.
Yellow Book holder (added value).- Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in high-rise construction.
Proficient understanding of lifting procedures, machinery, and equipment management
- Team player with the ability to work independently.
