Life/Group Asia Developer

Responsibilities:

• Develop and customize LifeAsia or GroupAsia insurance applications to support business needs.
• Work on COBOL-based insurance systems, ensuring the delivery of scalable and robust software solutions.
• Conduct system analysis, design, coding, testing, and implementation of LifeAsia or GroupAsia applications.
• Integrate new features and enhance functionalities based on client and business requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, testers, and project managers, to understand the scope of work.
• Perform troubleshooting and resolve technical issues related to the LifeAsia or GroupAsia platforms.
• Participate in the maintenance and support of existing systems, providing timely solutions to technical challenges.
• Ensure all work complies with company standards and industry best practices.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience working with LifeAsia or GroupAsia platforms.
• Strong proficiency in COBOL programming and experience with insurance-specific systems.
• Good knowledge of life or group insurance products and processes.
• Experience with SQL and database management.
• Familiarity with software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
