Job Responsibilities
- Assist in a wide range of business matters, including but not limited to drafting and negotiation of complex agreements, to support different business departments.
- Support and advise on general regulatory compliance, particularly in data and privacy protection laws, advertising laws and marketing laws, consumer protection laws etc.
- Handle legal disputes with the company's clients or suppliers, as well as consumer disputes (including attendance and submission before the Consumer Tribunal) etc.
- Handle day-to-day legal issues of the company group, which operates within the Asia Pacific region, including but not limited to Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Australia, New Zealand.
Job Requirements
- Educational background in LLB /Degree /Master in Law /CLP
- Required of 4 year's experiences and above
- Familiar with Malaysia Legal System and Common Law System
- Fluent in speaking and writing in English and Chinese
The ideal candidate will be responsible for in-house legal matters including drafting agreements, addressing compliance issues, and participating in negotiation discussions. In order to succeed, this candidate should feel comfortable working with in-house and outside counsels on a variety of legal matters.
