We are a boutique law firm specialising in Intellectual Property law and its related areas of practice. Based at the Gateway Kiaramas Corporate Suites in Mont Kiara, our expanding practice requires the addition of a Legal Associate.

The duties for this position include conducting comprehensive legal research and analysis, drafting and reviewing various legal documents such as contracts and agreements, assisting in the preparation of legal opinions, briefs, and memoranda, communicating with clients, associates, and other stakeholders, participating in negotiations, mediations, and hearings when necessary, staying informed about changes in laws and regulations relevant to the firm's practice areas, and offering general support to senior associates and partners as required.

Requirements:

1. Practical legal experience of between 3 to 4 years in IP field.

2. The aspiring candidate must have an excellent command of both spoken and written English. Proficiency in other languages is a plus.

3. Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

6. Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.

7. Most importantly, candidates should be interested in building a career within the exciting and fast-growing field of intellectual property, as the successful candidate will be exposed to all areas of intellectual property related work.
