Phd Holder / Minimum master holder
Qualification in Logistic
- To teach undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses in Logistic delivered by the Department and, as required, to teach on associated programmes offered by the university
To supervise student projects and assist them in understanding assignment requirements Design and execute formative and summative assessment including marking that is aligned with student learning outcomes
Provide feedback to students on their learning through student consultations- Conduct research in areas as per discussion with Dean/Head of Department
Publish papers and present papers at local and international conferences
Other duties within the Department and University as required REQUIREMENTS
- A minimum of 5 years teaching experience in a tertiary environment is preferred for this position
Record of successful supervision of postgraduate research students will be an added advantage- A strong knowledge of the subject area combined with a broad subject background enabling contributions to teaching programmes
Evidence of outstanding record of research publications in highly referred international journal publishers
- Good interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to work with students and staff from a diverse range of backgrounds
Excellent command of spoken and written English SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS- Able to undertake duties at different premises including any University campus as required
Expected to work outside of normal office hours as required
- Academic staff are expected to engage in activities associated with promotion, marketing and counsel prospective students at education fairs
