Lead Technical Services Engineer - Structure
Immediate superior - Technical Services Manager
Main responsibilities
- Supervise the overall effectiveness and efficiencies of the section.
- Provide technical support for structures issues under ATA chapter 51, 52, 53, 54, 55, 56, and 57.
Specific functions
- Provide effective and efficient technical support to aircraft operations for owner/operator.
- Prepare and raise required technical documents in accordance with approved procedures, regulatory and owner/operator requirements.
- Liaise with manufacturers, suppliers, aviation authority, owner/operator or any reliable sources to facilitate analysis of engineering issues.
- Evaluate continuing airworthiness data and provide a sentencing recommendation to the EO Review Committee for approval.
- Ensure that all technical documents raised meet the requirements of the department's approval system.
- Monitoring and control of Dent and Buckle Chart updates for aircrafts.
- Assist Reliability Section in conducting root cause analysis and provide remedies for excessive and abnormal wear, malfunctions or premature removals.
- Undertake development study to improve aircraft dispatch reliability and provide recommendation to EO Review Committee and/or Maintenance Review Board as necessary.
- Perform research on product improvement and defect mitigation.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Engineering disciplines from recognized institutions.
- 3 years of experience as Technical Services Engineer.
