Job Description

Position Title: Lead Product Engineer (R&D)

Our client, a global leader based in America, specializes in materials, networking, and lasers for the industrial, communications, electronics, and instrumentation markets. They are currently seeking a Lead Product Engineer (R&D) forcreating and evaluating designs that adhere to strict safety, regulatory and performance requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

Transceivers Verification/testing at module level.

Coordinate SPVT and EPVT to ensure specification compliance at design corners.

Create BOM and test spec to help the NPI team to introduce the new products.
Co-work with Ipoh test development and production team.
Work out a test plan and perform the test according to the plan.

Work with the New Product Introduction (NPI) team to improve the Yield.

Communicate with different sites.
Travel to work with the production team during critical phases of development
Job Requirements:
Master or Bachelor in Optics, Electronics, Mechanics, Automation, and other related majors, with strong electrical and communication background.
Experience in the telecommunication industry, working experience in Transceiver products is preferred.
In-depth understanding on principles of transceiver is preferred.

Strong problem-solving capabilities.

Excellent communication skills in English.
Good skill in module and system testing.
Ability to have good communication skills with internal and external.

Key person in the new production introduction process - responsible for product BOM structure set up, test configuration definition and qualification.

Product troubleshooting and qualification during the development phase.
Product transfer to manufacturing and training to manufacturing engineer.
Working with a skilled team of R&D engineers.
