You will work in one of several areas on the manufacturing line:-
TLC (Thermoform, Laser, CNC trimming) Quality Control
Trim orthodontic aligners according to Rx/Work Order using high speed bench mounted grinders, hand grinders, CNC machinery and other hand tools.- Responsible for filling materials over dental moulds or setups using brushes and spatulas.
Occasionally help build dental moulds using different prototyping processes.
- Maintain equipment at 100% operating efficiency.
Provide and maintain necessary documentation.- Perform required preventive maintenance for tools.
Record daily work and maintain cleanliness of work area.
- To carry out other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned by the head of department.
High School diploma or equivalent formal education/training.
- Previous experience working on a quality assurance assembly line is a plus.
Ability to learn quickly and perform in a fast paced environment with strong analytical skills.- Must have high ethical standards with attention to detail.
Basic MS Office skills; specifically MS Word and Excel
- Previous work experience with dental aligner buffing is a plus.
Ability to read prescriptions or specifications and examine models and impressions to determine the design of dental products to be constructed.- Previous dental industry experience; dental terminology is a plus.
Able to produce appliances (acrylic orthodontic aligners) according to Rx/Work Instruction requirements.
- Team player that has a history of providing assistance and technical support.
Prepared to work at night shift from 3 pm to 12 midnight.- Ability to work well under pressure.
Attention to detail and precision in his/her work.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast paced team environment
High integrity in work product.- Able to work 6 days/ week.
