ROLE - L3 Cloud Engineer

LOCATION - Petaling Jaya

DUTIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES

Manage backup operations using different backup solution.

Manage AWS services such as EC2, RDS, S3, Route 53, VPC, CloudWatch, SNS, CloudFormation, IAM, Autoscaling and AppStream.

Monitor system performance, Cloud spending.

Create/Maintain CI/CD pipeline in Azure DevOps, CloudFormation and GitLab.

Administration and troubleshooting of Linux Servers.

Provide day-to-day support for users including incident and problem management.

Respond promptly to change requests and escalation of issues

. Involve in patching/upgrading of Operation system (Linux Servers).

Support the migration of on-premises servers to the Cloud platform.

REQUIREMENT

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

At least 5 years of experience in networking domain.

Preferred Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, ITIL 4, or Linux related certification.

Deep understanding and experience with AWS CloudFormation, Scripting.

Skilled at working in tandem with a global team of engineers, or alone as required.

Multi-Tasking capabilities to manage multiple tasks being assigned.

Good understanding of basic networking (routing, subnets, DNS, firewall).

Experience with monitoring solutions such as AWS CloudWatch, Zabbix.

Able to work independently to debug complex infra issues.

Experience in Cloud cost optimization.

Experience in CI/CD pipeline with good understanding of several technologies: Ansible, Azure Devops, GitLab.

Experience working with scripting language to develop/maintain scripts for CloudFormation, Ansible platform.

Good troubleshooting skills for Linux systems, knowledge in hardening and securing of Linux systems.

Familiar with ServiceNow and Google Workspace.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Fluent communicator in English and possess great interpersonal skills
