KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting and finance department.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with Malaysian accounting standards.
Manage the budgeting and forecasting process, including variance analysis and performance tracking.
Ensure compliance with all local tax regulations and reporting requirements.
Monitor cash flow and manage banking relationships.
Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Lead the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors.
Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Stay up to date on changes in accounting standards and regulations. Oversee Treasury & Payable Sections and ensure accurate reporting & cash management.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Technical & Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or ACCA certification preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting and finance roles, with at least 3 years in a managerial position.
Previous experience in the logistics industry is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards and tax regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
