Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Korean Language Trainer to deliver high-quality language instruction to individuals or groups. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching, a deep understanding of the Korean language, and the ability to tailor lessons to meet the needs of learners with varying levels of proficiency. You will play a key role in supporting learners language acquisition goals, helping them achieve fluency in Korean, and fostering an understanding of Korean culture and traditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Language Instruction:
- Deliver engaging and interactive lessons in Korean for learners at various proficiency levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced).
- Develop and implement lesson plans, exercises, and assessments to reinforce language skills (reading, writing, speaking, and listening).
- Utilize a variety of instructional resources, including language apps, multimedia tools, and online resources, to enhance the learning experience.
- Curriculum Development:
- Create or adapt training programs based on students needs, goals, and proficiency levels.
- Incorporate aspects of Korean culture, traditions, and social norms into language lessons to provide a well-rounded learning experience.
- Assessment and Feedback:
- Regularly evaluate learners progress and provide constructive, actionable feedback.
- Administer quizzes, tests, and other assessments to gauge language proficiency and make necessary adjustments to teaching methods.
- Student Engagement:
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and interactive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
- Address learners questions and challenges promptly and offer additional support as needed.
- Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and other relevant documentation.
- Coordinate with the administrative team to schedule lessons, track student progress, and update training materials as necessary.
Required Qualifications:
- Language Proficiency:
- Native or near-native proficiency in Korean with a strong command of grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation.
- Proficiency in English (or the relevant language for instruction) is required.
- Teaching Experience:
- Minimum [X] years of teaching experience in Korean language instruction, either in a classroom or online setting.
- Experience working with learners of various levels, from beginners to advanced students.
- Educational Background:

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience teaching Korean in a corporate, academic, or immersion setting.
- Certification in Korean language teaching (e.g., TOPIK, KLPT, or equivalent).
- Experience designing specialized courses for business, travel, or professional purposes.
