Job Description

Job Responsibility

  • Responsible for daily cafeteria food preparation, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and overtime meals.
  • Develop daily menus to ensure variety and nutritional balance of dishes.
  • Follow standard procedures for ingredient washing, cutting, and cooking to ensure food safety and hygiene.
  • Control food costs by using ingredients efficiently and minimizing waste.
  • Inspect and maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and utensils to ensure proper functionality.
  • Strictly adhere to food safety and hygiene standards, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen environment.
  • Coordinate with procurement personnel for ingredient selection and acceptance to ensure freshness and quality.
  • Adjust food production quantities according to the number of diners and demand.
  • Promptly address various issues that arise in daily cafeteria operations to ensure smooth dining experiences.
  • Responsible for training and guiding kitchen assistants to enhance overall cooking skills and work efficiency of the team.
  • Pay attention to dining feedback from employees, continuously improve and enhance the quality and taste of dishes.
  • Complete other tasks assigned by superiors.

Job Requirements

  • Junior high school education or above, with professional culinary skills and relevant certificates preferred.
  • Over 3 years of experience as a chef in cafeteria or restaurant settings, preferably with experience in large-scale corporate cafeterias.
  • Familiar with the preparation of Chinese cuisine, Western cuisine, or local specialty dishes, possessing good culinary techniques and innovation ability.
  • Knowledgeable about food safety and hygiene, familiar with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Good physical fitness, capable of adapting to the kitchen working environment and its demands.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and team spirit, able to handle work pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills and service orientation, capable of addressing issues that arise during meal service.
  • Strictly adhere to company regulations and operational procedures, maintaining confidentiality of company business secrets.
  • Mandarin speaker
