Key Account Manager - industrial adhesive distributor (MNC company - Remote)

Job Description

- Planning :
  • Develop and adhere to Malaysia (KL & Johor) & Singapore budget.
Create sales plans aligned with the Annual Business Plan (ABP) and customer segmentation.
  • Coordinate planning activities with the direct supervisor.
  • - Business Development :
Implement market and sales strategies to enhance market coverage and profitability.
  • Identify and pursue sales opportunities within the designated market segment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Conduct consultative selling and stay updated on market dynamics.
  • - Sales Management :
Manage sales activities directly with end-users or through distributors.
  • Grow existing distribution sales and cultivate new business.
Develop and monitor business plans for key customers to ensure they comply and takes required action in case of deviations.
  • Formulates sales approach for its customers in agreement with the Superior and develops,implements and supervises customer pricing structures, service levels and product assortments.
Collaborate with Customer Service for order processing and delivery.
  • Ensure timely collection of accounts receivable and manage payment terms.
Conduct product presentations and coordinate end-user visits with marketing colleagues.
  • Formulate long-term growth strategies for assigned markets.
  • - Reporting :
Maintain records of activities and projects.
  • Provide regular updates to the immediate supervisor.
Prepare monthly reports and update CRM with current activities/progress.
  • Requirements :
Bachelors degree in Engineering/Sales/Marketing/Business Management or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Has experience working in MNC companies and has relevant experience in the industrial market, adhesive knowledge.
Minimum 5 years of experience in CRM and handling adhesive/chemical distributors. Candidates that have experience handling distributors will be prioritised.
  • Prior experience as a Technical Sales Engineer will be advantages.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Willing to travel overseas (not frequent).
Trustworthy,Strong team player, has good communication skills, result oriented and professional.
  • Fluent in Mandarin will be advantages.
