POSITION: Key Account Manager

MISSION / PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Key Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for both acquiring new business and managing and growing relationships with existing clients. You will sell comprehensive credit management solutions to new prospects, while also strengthening partnerships with current clients, ensuring their success, and identifying opportunities for expansion.
MAIN TASKS / RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.New Business Development & Client Acquisition
- Identify and target potential clients across various industries, focusing on those with significant credit management needs.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of new business opportunities by proactively reaching out to potential clients, qualifying leads, and closing sales.
- Engage in consultative selling to understand the clients business needs and present tailored solutions from our suite of products and services, including credit reporting, fraud detection, eKYC, and credit scoring.
- Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients, effectively communicating the value and benefits of our solutions.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals, ensuring the timely execution of agreements and the achievement of sales targets.
2.Account Management & Client Growth
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned key accounts, ensuring consistent communication and fostering long-term relationships.
- Develop a deep understanding of each client's business, goals, and challenges to offer strategic recommendations and deliver solutions that drive mutual success.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling products and services to existing clients, helping them achieve greater efficiencies in their credit management processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams (product, technical support, and customer service) to ensure seamless service delivery and address any client issues promptly.
- Conduct regular business reviews with clients to track performance, gather feedback, and present new solutions that align with their evolving needs.
3.Market Intelligence & Strategic Collaboration
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market opportunities to ensure we are well-positioned to meet client needs and surpass competitors.
- Share client insights and market intelligence with internal teams to inform product development, sales strategies, and overall business direction.
- Continuously enhance product knowledge and sales techniques to remain competitive in the industry and provide clients with the most relevant solutions.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in both sales and account management, ideally within the financial services, credit management, or SaaS sectors.
- Proven ability to hunt for new clients and grow existing accounts through strong relationship-building and consultative selling.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Highly self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to craft solutions tailored to client needs.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
