Job TitleWe are seeking a qualified Welder to join our team at the Penang plant. The ideal candidate will have practical experience in various welding processes, a solid understanding of welding symbols, and a commitment to producing high-quality work. This role requires a strong focus on precision, safety, and adherence to industry standards.
Perform welding operations using various processes, including 3G & 4G Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), 6G Metal Inert Gas (MIG), Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (TIG/GTAW), and Flux core Arc Welding (FCAW).- Accurately read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and specifications.
Ensure all welds meet industry standards and company quality expectations.
- Inspect and test completed welds to ensure they meet required specifications.
Maintain and calibrate welding equipment, reporting any issues promptly.- Work closely with the production team to ensure project timelines are met.
Skills training in accordance with the National Occupancy Skills Standards set by Jabatan Pembangunan Kemahiran Malaysia (Department Of Skills Development) conducted by a certified Training Provider.- Experience in welding processes including 3G & 4G SMAW, 6G MIG, TIG/GTAW, and FCAW, as well as in manufacturing environments.
Successful completion of welding process training with a 100% pass rate and competency in related fields.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in welding, or a high scorer with exceptional skills and understanding of welding symbols.
Must pass the welding test provided during interview
