We are looking for a passionate and talented Web Developer/Designer. You will work closely with the Design and Web/IT team to develop engaging Websites, Wireframes, typography pairings and transform ideas into visually appealing designs. The ideal candidate will have the ability to prioritise tasks, have high attention to detail & is able to excel independently.

• Responsibilities:

Website and software application designing, building, or maintaining.

• Using scripting or authoring languages, management tools, content creation tools, applications, and digital media.

Conferring with teams to resolve conflicts, prioritize needs, develop content criteria, or choose solutions.

• Directing or performing Website updates.

Developing or validating test routines and schedules to ensure that test cases mimic external interfaces and address all browser and device types.

• Protects organizations value by keeping information confidential.

Editing, writing, or designing Website content, and directing team members who produce content.

• Maintaining an understanding of the latest Web applications and programming practices through education, study, and participation in conferences, workshops, and groups.

Back up files from websites to local directories for recovery.

• Identifying problems uncovered by customer feedback and testing, and correcting or referring problems to appropriate personnel for correction.

Evaluating code to ensure it meets industry standards, is valid, is properly structured, and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems.

• Determining user needs by analyzing technical requirements.

Copywriting when required

• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

• Desired Skills & Experience:

Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelors Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Advertising/Media, Art/Design/Creative Multimedia or equivalent.

• At least 1 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

• Required skill(s): HTML, CSS, JavaScript, WordPress, WooCommerce

Theme / page builders: Divi (desired), Elementor, etc.

• Basic design skills using: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop

Prototyping tools: Adobe XD, Figma, etc.

• Skills in UI/UX Design will be an added advantage

Managing domains & hosting, cPanel, CDN, SEO optimization

• Proven web building skills with portfolio

Ability to work independently

• Responsive towards internal and external communication

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
