Junior Web Developer (Angular)

Hybrid work | 1 Year contract with an opportunity to be converted into permanent)

What You'll Do:

• Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and project managers to create and improve websites for the company's subsidiaries, focusing on the user experience.
• Develop and maintain web-based systems, including Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) using Angular, and ensure these platforms are optimized and secure.
• Occasionally, introduce and explain new technologies to the team and stakeholders.
• Participate in technical discussions, solution design, and code reviews to ensure high-quality project delivery.
• Work in an Agile/Scrum environment with tools like JIRA to manage tasks and workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborative Development: Work with UI/UX designers and backend developers to deliver high-quality web solutions and enhance existing customer portals.
2. Project Delivery: Ensure all web development projects meet business needs, are secure, and are delivered on time.
3. Technical Leadership: Lead discussions within the team, design APIs, and improve the existing codebase.
4. Hands-on Coding: Develop single-page applications (SPAs) using Angular, and contribute to the overall architecture of web systems.
5. Technology Exploration: Stay updated with technology trends, especially in fintech/insurtech, and bring innovative solutions to improve business processes.

Skills & Requirements:

• Education: Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Experience:
• At least 2-5 years in software engineering.
• Strong background in JavaScript, with experience building web applications using Angular.
• Knowledge of hybrid development with Flutter is a plus.
• Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., Strapi) and API gateways.
• Experience with Linux (Red Hat), Nginx, and Docker.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
