Role Description To ensure the software development process methodology is adhered to.
To analyse, designs, program, correct and test the application software for conformance to requirements of moderate complexity and scale.
To assume maintenance responsibilities for existing application software.
To work with end-user to develop and execute test plans during the implementation phase and be able to interpret the data.
To document changes to the application software.
To plan and conduct appropriate user training on application software of moderate complexity and scale.
To communicate effectively within project team, orally and in writing.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Proven working experience in Informix and/or Java development
Proven hands-on Software Development experience. Excellent knowledge of the software development life cycle- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to learn quickly and work independently or as part of a team
- Object Oriented analysis and design using common design patterns.
Experience with test-driven development
