Job Overview
As a Recruiter, you will be responsible for identifying, sourcing, and placing qualified candidates for our clients across various industries. Your role will involve managing the recruitment process from initial candidate contact to placement, ensuring a seamless and professional experience for clients and candidates. This includes building strong client relationships and understanding the local Malaysian job market to meet hiring demands.
Key Responsibilities
1. Candidate Sourcing and Screening
- Source and attract candidates through job portals, social media, networking, and other recruitment channels.
- Conduct initial candidate screenings and interviews to assess skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Shortlist candidates based on the client's requirements, and prepare profiles for submission.
2. Client Engagement
- Collaborate with clients to understand job requirements, desired qualifications, and hiring expectations.
- Provide regular updates to clients regarding recruitment progress and market insights.
- Build positive client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on hiring trends and candidate availability.
3. Candidate Management
- Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the hiring process, from initial contact to onboarding.
- Provide candidates with interview preparation, role insights, and feedback.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience by addressing any questions or concerns during the recruitment process.
4. Market Research and Talent Mapping
- Stay updated on industry trends, salary benchmarks, and hiring practices within the Malaysian job market.
- Conduct talent mapping for critical roles and build pipelines for hard-to-fill positions.
- Share insights with clients to help them make informed hiring decisions.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Education: Minimum SPM
- Experience: At least 1-3 years of experience in recruitment, preferably within the Malaysian market.
- Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Software Proficiency: Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment platforms like LinkedIn, JobStreet, or Indeed.
- Knowledge: Understanding of Malaysian employment regulations and market-specific hiring practices.
