VACANCY- (location: Kuala Lumpur Bukit Tunku)
- Performance Objectives for the Job
To design and create (write and edit codes) for software programs and check to ensure that the programs run with no errors/mistakes/bugs;
- Resolving any issues or errors or problems that occur or arise during the programming process and ensure that final program meets the Company's or Client's standards;
Constantly learn and adapt to create new programs and application;- Handling documentation for codes, user manual, instruction guides, tutorials etc.
Conduct training for new users for systems, programs and applications;
- Provide office hours and non-office hours support as and when necessary to Clients;
As and when needed, make presentation to Clients and handle queries; and- To manage other tasks assigned from time to time

Completely understand the requirements before programming;- Plan and organise each programming project with deadlines, sufficient resources etc
Understand clients queries, diagnose issues correctly and respond promptly;
- Escalate client problems that cannot be promptly resolved to the management; and
Establish rapport with the Department Heads at the Hotels or Clients to discuss about systems requirements, problems etc.
The organisation is lean and employees are encouraged to multitask to understand the full spectrum of their jobs.
Preparing project programming specifications, activities etc before starting projects etc;
- Designing, writing code, testing, modifying (to fix errors/bugs) and implement software programs, applications, systems etc in accordance with requirements, specifications as per brief etc;
Prepare documentation for programs, applications, systems etc including training manual;- Review, modifying and enhancing existing software programs, applications, systems etc including encoding, testing, debugging etc
Conducts technical review, research and testing of other technologies as and when needed;
- Regularly communicating and reporting to management to update status of development, project or programming; and
Other tasks assigned from time to time.
Possess good analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills;- Able to manage projects and tasks effectively to meet deadlines and commitments;
Numerate, organised, solutions oriented and able to multitask
- Good interpersonal and communication skills (listening is also necessary)
Able to write clean codes well;- Good understanding of software development life-cycle;
Trustworthy and honest;
- Flexible, creative, adaptable and willing to learn new technology; and
Stay updated with latest developments in software development.
A Malaysian citizen with credits in mathematics and English for SPM;- Possess a diploma/degree in any related field of study but with at least 1-2 years of experience in the programming field;
Able to work under deadlines and travel to Klang Valley & East Malaysia destinations
(whenever required / necessary);
Diligent, detailed and willing to try and learn new ways of doing things;- Has a knack for getting all the big picture and details;
Ability to converse in any Chinese dialect would be an added advantage;
Hybrid work arrangement (work from office and home based on schedule) may be considered at the management's sole discretion; and
