Job Description: Junior OutSystems Developer

We are seeking skilled and motivated Junior OutSystems Developers to join our development team and contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of cutting-edge applications using the OutSystems low-code platform. As an OutSystems Developer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create efficient and user-friendly solutions that meet business requirements.
Design, develop, and implement web and mobile applications using the OutSystems platform.
Collaborate with business analysts, UI/UX designers, and other team members to translate requirements into functional and technical specifications.
Build responsive user interfaces, workflows, and integrate with backend systems as needed.
- Customization and Integration:
Customize and extend existing OutSystems modules to meet specific business needs.
Integrate applications with external systems and APIs, ensuring data consistency and security.
- Code Quality and Testing:
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following established coding standards and best practices.
Conduct unit testing and collaborate with quality assurance teams to identify and resolve defects.
- Performance Optimization:
Identify and address performance bottlenecks in applications, optimizing load times and responsiveness.
Monitor and fine-tune application performance to ensure optimal user experience.
Document technical specifications, design decisions, and application architecture for future reference and collaboration.
- Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with project managers, business analysts, and other developers to ensure successful project delivery.
Communicate effectively with team members to provide updates, discuss challenges, and propose solutions.
Stay up-to-date with the latest OutSystems features, updates, and best practices.
Continuously improve your technical skills and share knowledge with the team.
- Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience as an OutSystems Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of OutSystems-based projects.
Proficiency in building web and mobile applications using the OutSystems platform, including UI development, logic flows, and integrations.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and version control systems.
Solid understanding of front-end and back-end development concepts, including databases, APIs, and web services.
Experience with responsive design principles and user interface best practices.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
Certifications in OutSystems development (e.g., OutSystems Associate Web Developer, OutSystems Professional Web Developer) are a plus.
Salary from RM 3500-4500
