Responsibility A Logistics Coordinator, or Logistics Specialist Coordinator, prepares, routes and manages a companys purchase orders. Their main duties include reviewing shipment materials before distributions, collaborating with transportation systems to ensure prompt shipment pick-ups and monitoring shipment costs and productivity processes.
Handle domestic and export shipments booking and transports arrangement for goods delivery.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure all orders are completed and ready for shipment as per planned schedule.
Coordinate with customers and transporters (driver, shipping agent, freight forwarder) to ensure on time delivery.- Prepare shipping documents required in relation to logistic and exemption (invoice, packing list, DO, PI, etc.).
Ensure documentation accuracy for export declaration and clearance while complying with all the Customs and LMW regulations.
- Liaise closely with Customs authorities for resolving all matters related to export processes, report submissions, etc.
Negotiate with vendors/ suppliers for a better rate. Monitor and control transportation costs, including freight rates, surcharges, and other expenses, to optimize profitability while maintaining competitiveness in the market- Active and continually take the initiative in resolving day-to-day issues.

- Required skills and qualifications :
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma / Certificate in Logistic Operation, Supply Chain Management or related disciplines.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in handling logistic operation in a manufacturing environment.
Familiar with Customs HS code, duty tax computation and exemption, LMW license renewal, Sub-con application and renewal, ATIGA, and other Customs regulations and requirements.- Ability to deal with relevant government agencies, inclusive of Customs authorities.
Preferably have working experience with ERP system.
