IND Technology is an award winning powerline monitoring technology company based in Melbourne, New York and Kuala Lumpur. We are looking for a skilled Firmware Engineer with a strong background in embedded systems and highly motivated to join our team in KL.
This role is ideal for professionals with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline, and ideally, 2+ years of experience. Graduates with relevant skills and knowledge are also encouraged to apply.
The key responsibilities of this job include:
- Closely working with product owners and system leads in formalising the deployment of various firmware versions and system settings files to industrial IoT devices around the world.
Upload and execute O/S firmware versions and settings files across a large base of industrial IoT devices.- Conduct device fleet performance analysis, troubleshooting, and debugging of offline IoT devices.
Collaborate with Hardware Engineering and Product Management teams to identify device issues, as well as firmware and hardware performance risks to the business.
- Present results of fleet status and performance to Hardware Engineering and Product Management teams.
