As a Junior Data Engineer, you'll play a vital role in building and maintaining our data infrastructure. You will work with tools like Power BI, ETL processes, Automate Anywhere, Azure, and Landmark EDM to support our data operations and provide valuable insights. Key Responsibilities:
- Data Integration and ETL:
- Assist in designing and managing ETL processes to integrate data from various sources into our data warehouse.
- Power BI Development:
- Help create, deploy, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Automation:
- Utilize Automate Anywhere to support and automate data processes and tasks.
- Azure Data Solutions:
- Contribute to implementing and managing data solutions on Azure, including data storage and pipelines.
- Data Quality and Governance:
- Support ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across all data platforms.
- Landmark EDM:
- Assist with Landmark EDM for data management and integration.
- Collaboration:
- Work with data scientists, analysts, and other team members to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
- Performance Optimization:
- Help monitor and optimize data systems to ensure efficient processing and retrieval.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: 1-3 years of relevant experience in data engineering or a related field.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Power BI: Experience with data visualization and reporting.
- Experience with ETL Processes: Familiarity with ETL tools and processes.
- Experience with Automate Anywhere: Basic experience with process automation.
- Proficiency with Azure Data Services: Basic knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Data Lake.
- Experience with Landmark EDM: Some experience or familiarity with data management and integration.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Good understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modeling.
- Ability to Manage Multiple Tasks Effectively: Strong organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with other BI tools and platforms.
- Basic knowledge of Python or other programming languages used in data engineering.
- Knowledge of big data technologies and frameworks.
- Certification in Azure or relevant data engineering certifications is a plus.
Salary Range: MYR 3,500 - MYR 6,000 per month
