Jira Confluence Support Engineer

Role Summary

In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance to end-users and other team members regarding our supported applications and automation systems. You will also play a key role in maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing our current automation systems and processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other team members regarding the supported applications and automation systems.
• Maintain, troubleshoot and enhance our currently automation systems and processes.
• Identify and perform analysis on improvement/optimization opportunities and craft custom solutions
• Work closely with cross-functional teams: Product, Engineering, Support, DevOps to ensure seamless operations
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentations for automation processes, procedures, and systems.
• Adapt to new technology stack and applications, such as Artificial Intelligence and transform our tool stack for higher efficiency

Requirements

• MS degree in Computer Science or STEM related degree
• Minimum 3 years of working experience as a developer or technical application support role
• Prior experience of supporting and administrating Atlassian suite (Jira Confluence)
• Demonstrated proficiency with Python for scripting
• Proven experience with Windows/Linux environment, inclusive of configuration, deployment and troubleshooting
• Working knowledge of SQL (CRUD, Join etc)
• Familiar with Identity Management technologies (SAML, Entra ID, OAuth, JWT)
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Exceptional problem-solving skill and the ability to analyze complex technical issues
• Ability to quickly learn, apply and transfer technical knowledge
• Strong team player, able to work cooperatively in a multicultural, global environment with remotely located team members
