Responsibilities:
- Communicate with vendors and suppliers to gather information, negotiate terms, and confirm orders
Source and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery speed- Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers to ensure cost-effective purchasing
Create and manage purchase orders and contracts
- Coordinate with other departments to determine purchasing needs
Monitor inventory levels and forecast future needs- Resolve any issues or disputes with suppliers
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and market conditions
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
With experience as a Purchaser or in a similar role will have added advantages- Strong negotiation and communication skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
