J - Finance Manager [Insurances Industry]

Job Responsibilities

Responsible for the daily finance operations and ensure adherence to all relevant controls, regulations, policies and guidelines.

Overseeing finance processes including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

Ensure that all accounts/reports (Internal/external) are prepared in accordance/compliance with approved accounting standards, Group reporting requirements, and regulatory (BNM) requirements.

Ensure timely GL/SL reconciliation towards data integrity and reliability; following up on all exceptions for resolution.

Monitor budgeting control process and identify overall cost savings (Expense Management).

Managing new registration of vendors and assist in new vendor selection and recommendation.

Involve in annual budgeting cycle and monthly forecasting process

Prepare Tax Computations (yearly and estimates), SST submission, yearly Transfer Pricing documentation and review WHT submission.

Manage and hand on in full spectrum of payroll process and review payroll reconciliations.

Support and assist in other ad hoc duties, projects and activities as assigned by superior.

• Job Requirements

Diploma/Degree in finance/accounting or related fields

Minimum 3 to 4 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting roles, preferably in the insurance industry

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must.

Strong analytical and presentation skills.

Attentive to details and able to work with tight deadlines under minimal supervision.

Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Good command of Bahasa Malaysia and English languages in both written and verbal.
