Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

IT Support:
  • Responsible in Austin Park Hotel, Austin Heights International Convention Centre, Austin Heights Water and Adventure Park and Austin Heights Golf and Resort Hotel IT hardware and software issue.
  • 2. Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices
(routers, printers etc.)
  • 3. Check computer hardware (HDD, mouses, keyboards etc.) to ensure functionality.
4. Install and configure appropriate software / hardware and functions according to specifications.
  • 5. Repair or replace damaged hardware.
6. Develop and maintain local networks in ways that optimize performance.
  • 7. Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems.
8. Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems
  • (Hardware and Software issues).
9. Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule.
  • 10. Define software, hardware and network shortages and requirements.
11. Perform daily system monitoring, verifying integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key process
  • 12. Implementing database and network designs, database backups, installing and upgrading software and scalable infrastructure.
13. Ensure best suitable and compatible systems and framework for coordination of operations
  • 14. Conducting regular system audits.
15. Perform any ad-hoc task assigned by Superior or The Management.
  • 16. Support users of CCTV system.
17. Establish working relationships with vendors and contractors pertaining to CCTV systems.
  • 18. Provide technical support to end users covering all software and hardware related issues.
19. Design and control staff door access card and responsible in access card inventory.
  • 20. Responsible in monthly assets inventory.
21. Maintain and upgrade existing analog and digital CCTV systems as needed.
  • 22. Support users of CCTV system.
23. Establish working relationships with vendors and contractors pertaining to CCTV systems.
  • 24. Provide technical support to end users covering all software and hardware related issues.
25. Design and control staff door access card and responsible in access card inventory.
  • 26. Responsible in monthly assets inventory.
  • AV Support:
1. Carry out daily preventive and corrective maintenance and comply with safety at work.
  • 2. Liaise with event organizers on technical support and event set up requirements.
3. Assist in documenting all technical issues within the incident management system.
  • 4. Troubleshoots and maintains all the AV equipment.
5. Ensures that the maintenance of all electronics-related equipment and its associated auxiliaries are carried out in accordance with the Standard Engineering practice.
  • 6. Responsibility on banquet hall audio system and video equipment maintenance and service
7. Participates in the installation of AV recording and Video calling systems during events.
  • 8. Participate, monitor and control the AV / PA system during event function, ensure event function run smoothly.
9. Set-up, operate, and troubleshoot AV / projection equipment's / Mic / other devices.
  • 10. Ensure AV equipment is operational, labeled, repaired and cleaned when necessary.
11. Assist M&E Technician to monitor, trouble shoot and maintain effective functioning of all equipment (AV/M&E), to carry out trouble shooting to rectify faulty equipment or components during emergency and clients amenities.
  • 12. Responsible in monthly assets inventory


Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
