Job Description

Incident Management:

Provide expert-level technical support to end-users for desktop, laptop, and peripheral issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware, software, and network problems.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement solutions to prevent recurrence.
Analyse support metrics to improve service delivery.

Knowledge Management:


Responsible for Knowledge Management process to collate organisational knowledge, improve its accessibility for users, and eliminate redundancies in the knowledge-finding process to improve organisational efficiency.

System Maintenance:


Perform regular system maintenance and updates to ensure optimal performance.
Manage and deploy desktop operating systems and software applications.
Ensure compliance with company IT policies and procedures.
Monitor system performance and provide regular reports to management.

User Assistance:


Assist users with software installations, configurations, and upgrades.
Provide training and support on new technologies and applications.
Respond to and resolve user requests in a timely and efficient manner.

Project Management:


Lead and participate in assigned IT projects, including hardware and software rollouts.
Coordinate with other IT teams to implement new technologies and solutions.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
8 years of experience in IT desktop/technical support or a similar role.
Proven experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex user technical issues.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
