Job Title: Assistant Manager/Manager - IT Security and Governance Support

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Job Summary: The Assistant Manager/Manager - IT Security and Governance Support will play a crucial role in supporting our IT audit reviews, technology risk management, access management, and governance compliance. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing IT security and audit processes, assessing technology risks, and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• IT Audit Reviews:
• Support and coordinate responses for internal and external audits.
• Track and report audit remediation action items to ensure closure.
• Technology Risk Management:
• Identify and assess IT risks, working with relevant teams to implement risk controls.
• Conduct regular assessments of technology systems, including applications, business processes, and networks.
• Report findings and communicate recommendations for corrective actions.
• Submit IT risk, security, and regulatory reports in a timely manner.
• Access Management:
• Facilitate and support Identity Access Management (IAM) initiatives, including managing Privileged Identity (PID) owners.
• Support new IAM initiatives and implementation within the organization.
• Facilitate and track annual access reviews for completeness.
• Governance and Compliance:
• Facilitate and support assessments related to Prudential and Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) policies and guidelines.
• Identify and assess gaps from newly released policies and guidelines.
• Track and report on remediation action items for policy and guideline compliance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in IT security, risk management, and audit support.
• Familiarity with IT security tools, risk management frameworks, and audit management systems.
• Strong understanding of Identity Access Management (IAM) and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA) are a plus.
• Experience with Prudential and Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) policies and guidelines is advantageous.
