About The Position
A project manager is a professional responsible for overseeing and leading the execution of projects from initiation to completion. They are responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with the project's objectives and requirements.
Your key responsibilities:
- Creating a comprehensive project plan, including defining project goals, objectives, scope, deliverables, and timelines.
- Identify tasks, allocate resources, and create a schedule to ensure the project progresses smoothly
- Oversee the project team, assigning roles and responsibilities, and ensuring effective collaboration.
- Facilitate communication, encourage teamwork, and provide guidance to team members to ensure they understand their tasks and deadlines
- Identify project stakeholders, establish effective communication channels, and manage their expectations.
- Proactively identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate or minimize their impact on the project. This includes conducting risk assessments, creating contingency plans, and monitoring risks throughout the project
- Work with relevant stakeholders to define and manage the project budget. Monitor project costs, track expenses, and ensure that the project is delivered within the allocated budget
- Develop and implement quality control processes, conduct quality reviews, and address any deficiencies to maintain high-quality outcomes
- Monitor project progress, track milestones, and report on the status to stakeholders.
- Provide regular updates on project performance, identify any deviations from the plan, and take corrective actions as needed
- Assessing change requests, evaluating their impact on the project, and implementing approved changes while minimizing disruption
- Maintain project documentation, including project plans, reports, and communication records ensuring those are organized, up to date, and easily accessible to the project team and stakeholders
- Oversee the project closure process, including conducting post-project evaluations, documenting lessons learned, and archiving project documentation
