IT Project Manager (Infrastructure)

TITLE: IT PROJECT MANAGER (INFRASTRUCTURE)

• Reporting line: Vice President, Project Management Office (PMO)

Location : Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

• Job Description:

Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of IT Infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.

• Manage the entire IT Infrastructure lifecycle, including LAN, WAN, CLOUD, SECURITY, and DATACENTER components.

Lead a team of full-time members, providing direction, guidance, and support throughout the project lifecycle.

• Utilize project management methodologies to effectively manage project activities and resources.

Serve as a change management expert, facilitating smooth transitions and mitigating risks associated with project changes.

• Effectively communicate project status, issues, and risks to stakeholders through verbal, written, and presentation channels.

Manage project finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking to ensure projects remain within financial constraints.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, vendors, and project team members to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.

• Education

Bachelor's Degree / Post Graduate / Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.

• Professional certification in project management is preferred, but certified PMP and/or certified Scrum Master is added advantage.

• Experience

At least 5 years of experience in managing IT Infrastructure projects and system implementation/enhancement, Managing complete IT Infra, LAN, WAN, CLOUD, SECURITY, DATACENTER

• Experience in managing at least 5 full-time team members, excluding the implementation vendor.

Experience in managing Agile projects as Scrum Master will be added advantage.

• Practical knowledge in project management methodologies, such as Waterfall, Agile, and Kanban
