Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support:

    - Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in person.

    - Diagnose and resolve hardware and software problems promptly and efficiently.

    - Escalate complex issues to the appropriate IT teams when necessary.

  • Hardware and Software Maintenance:

    - Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and other hardware peripherals.

    - Assist in the installation, maintenance, and updates of software applications.

    - Ensure all IT equipment is in good working condition.

  • User Account Management:

    - Create, modify, and delete user accounts and access permissions as needed.

    - Manage password resets and account security.

  • Network Support:

    - Troubleshoot network connectivity issues.

    - Assist in setting up and maintaining network equipment (routers, switches, etc.).

  • Documentation:

    - Maintain accurate records of support requests, repairs, and inventory.

    - Create and update user guides and documentation for common IT procedures.

  • Security and Compliance:

    - Assist in implementing and enforcing IT security policies and procedures.

    - Keep systems up to date with security patches and antivirus definitions.

  • User Training:

    - Provide basic training to users on software and hardware usage.

    - Promote best practices for IT security and data management.

    Qualifications:

    - Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.

    - Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) a plus.

    - Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

    - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

    - Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

    - Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Office Suite.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    - Prior experience in IT support or a similar role.

    - Knowledge of Active Directory and network protocols.

    - Familiarity with remote support tools.

    - Basic understanding of cloud-based services.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
