Job Purpose
The position supports initiatives related to IT and Information Security governance, risk and compliance.
The position will support efforts related to IT risk assessments, risk tracking and management, disaster recovery, data retention, and security policies and policy compliance.
The job will require learning technical tools to support risk management efforts.
The job will require effective communication and time management skills.
Key Accountabilities
The position supports global initiatives related to IT and Information Security governance, risk, and compliance through the following:
Assist IT/Information Security risk assessments by conducting research into companies and technologies that may be implemented at Donaldson
Learn and assist in efforts to gather information and documentation from IT staff in the remediation or acceptance of IT Risks
Collaborate across teams and departments to assist in the gathering of business information and documentation
Participate in risk assessment tracking reviews and meetings
Engage the opportunity to learn and use tools, such as MS PowerApps and BitSight, to deploy and support an online Risk Assessment questionnaire
Assist in supporting Disaster Recovery and Data Retention efforts through research and project work
Support IT policies and assessments of compliance with policy requirements
Qualification
Working towards a bachelors degree in IT, Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field and/or corresponding experience in the necessary knowledge and skills of the position.
IT/Information Security courses
